Installing stonework has to be planned in advance sometimes at a stage where correct foundations can be laid in place for the piece or collection of pieces to be safely fitted for years to come,

Specific fixings only designed for stone, mainly relying on stainless steel for longevity of the installation.

Forward planning of every stage is required to make sure all Health and Safety procedures can be adhered to.

Careful selection of Adhesives, Mortars, Grouts, Resins, and Silicones, are all key to ensuring stability of the work and also to protect against  staining or leeching  which occurs with any particular stone if any of the above are incompatible with the material of choice.
